Internacional (Marketwired, 08 de Agosto de 2013) TopLine Is Teaming Up With the St. Paul Saints to Host "Be an Angel for a Day," a Give-Back to Local Non-Profits It's not quite Oprah Winfrey telling her audience; "You Get A Car! And You Get A Car!" The St. Paul Saints have teamed up with TopLine Federal Credit Union for a very unique promotion that will help some local non-profit organizations. TopLine will be donating $1,500 to the first 1,500 fans, at this first-time ever Saints charity night event.
On Thursday night, August 22 as the Saints take on the Winnipeg Goldeyes in a 7:05 p.m. game, fans will receive a giveaway not usually handed out at ballparks: money! The first 1,500 fans in attendance will receive a clean, crisp dollar bill, courtesy of TopLine Federal Credit Union. There is a catch. Lined up inside the ballpark will be several non-profit organizations from across the Twin Cities. Those fans who receive the dollar will then have a chance to donate that money to the non-profit of their choice, and maybe dig in their pockets for a few more for such a worthwhile cause. The goal: to promote the importance of giving back to our communities.
"The Saints make it a point to help every non-profit organization that sends in a request each year," said Saints Executive Vice President/General Manager Derek Sharrer. "In partnering with TopLine Federal Credit Union for this great promotion it allows us to reach out to multiple organizations that could use support. We're letting our fans decide where they would like to see the money go."
"TopLine is honored to participate in this first-time event with the St. Paul Saints, to help support some great local non-profit charitable organizations," says Harry Carter, TopLine President and CEO. "Every donation, small or large, helps make a difference and we are always glad to lend a hand."
The Saints and TopLine also encourage those fans that aren't one of the first 1,500 people through the gates to donate a dollar or more to the non-profit of their choice. The organizations will hand out additional information, so fans can learn more about their causes.
